“Didja like it? Did it make sense and stuff? Well? Tell me! What did you think of it?”
― Ace, after showing the player a letter, Animal Crossing
Ace is a jockbirdvillager that appeared in the earlier versions of the Animal Crossing series. His name possibly relates to a "flying ace," a term used for an accomplished pilot. Alternately, he could also be named after the ace of spades, judging from the fact that he starts out wearing a shirt with a single spade on it, like the playing card. His Japanese name, Feza, is a Japanese translation of feather. He shares his catchphrase, "ace", with Rod.
Ace is a blue bird who initially wears a spade shirt. He has red spots on his cheeks, an orange and yellow beak, and his eyes are half-closed.
Below is a brief description of the jock personality. For more information, click here.
Ace has a jock personality, and has a great interest in sports and bodybuilding. Jock villagers are hyperactive and motivated, but often come across as egotistical and dense. As a jock villager, Ace is very interested in his hobby, and may compete against the player for catching bugs and fish. Jock villagers get along with peppy, cranky and uchi villagers, but conflict with the laid-back lifestyle of lazy villagers. Snooty villagers may also be difficult to get along with for Ace.
Ace knows every fish-lived pond and puddle. But this avid fisherman never sells his catch or donates it to the museum. His tender heart compells him to realease each wide-eyed prize back into the water.
