Angus (セルバンテス, Serubantesu^?, Cervantes) is a cranky bull villager from the Animal Crossing series. He originally appears in Animal Forest e+, where he was exclusive to his e-Card that came with the game, and has appeared in every game since. His name derives from the "Aberdeen Angus" breed of cow, hence his Scottish catchphrase. Angus is most likely a Red Angus bull, as Angus are often solid black, like Rodeo. His name may come from the mood anger, hence his cranky personality or from Angus beef. He has the fitness hobby.

Appearance

Angus in Animal Forest e+

Angus is a rusty brown colored bull with a white stripe down his nose that gets wider when it nears his tan muzzle, which makes his head slightly resemble a T-bone steak. He also has long prominent lower eyelashes. He has two horns that are light gray with a darker gray stripe with one tuft of gray hair above his eyes. His initial shirt is the flame shirt, and when it rains, he will initially carry the flame umbrella, which matches his initial shirt.

Cranky villagers will usually appear in a grouchy or agitated mood. When talking to the player, cranky villagers tend to become angry if the player disagrees with them or refuses to do a favor. Like all cranky villagers, Angus will be invested in his hobby and will often challenge the player to various competitions. He will easily get along with jock, snooty, and other cranky villagers, and occasionally lazy and normal villagers as well. However, he will find it hard to socialize with peppy villagers, as they will seem overstimulated or immature.

House

In Animal Forest e+, Angus has the same furniture styling as Baabara's house, only that he has changed the wallpaper to the old brick wall and the flooring to the cowhide rug with a turntable playing Señor K.K.

In Wild World and City Folk, Angus' house has the theme of a pub, with a variety of furniture, such as parts from the ranch series, the dresser and the table, along with two pantheons and two rocking chairs and a cream sofa and certain furniture that help the theme of a pub in his house, including the pool table and the dartboard. On a high-end stereo, it plays Señor K.K. He has the library wall and the stone floor.

In New Horizons, Angus' house has a red exterior with a black iron door and black stone roof. The interior has the dark-wooden mosaic wall and the red-and-black vinyl flooring. He has an antique bureau, bed, and a mini table. He also has a red double sofa, an ironwood low table, a dartboard, a high-end stereo, a dracaena, and a bingo wheel. When Angus crafts a recipe, he uses a walnut ironwood DIY workbench.

Angus was released with Pocket Camp on October 25, 2017.
