Franklin the turkey realizes he's in trouble when Tortimer, the mayor, invites him for dinner, or rather, to be dinner. He appears around town between 3 PM and 9 PM. During the Harvest Festival, Franklin will hide behind obstacles such as trees, buildings and signs, and wait for the player to bring him pieces of silverware from the banquet. Franklin believes that if the player pilfers the utensils, the villagers will be unable to serve him. (Read more...)

Autumn in Animal Crossing starts on the 1^st September and ends on the 30^th November. It's apparent when the trees turn brown and the grass changes to a golden-wax color in October, and in November trees are a redish-brown color, with the grass appearing similarly. (Read more...)
