Ava (ドミグラ,,Domigura?) is a normalchickenvillager from the Animal Crossing series series. Her name may come from the word ova, the Latin word for "eggs." It is also possible that her name comes from the word "avian" meaning flyer; a pun on her species, chicken, as they cannot fly. She is absent in games after Animal Forest e+, but reappears again in New Leaf. She appears on the album cover for K.K. Parade.
Ava is a "classic" white chicken with a red comb and brown wings, possibly referenced on an Isa Brown chicken. She initially wears the Checkerboard Tee. Ava has big eyes and seems to have a country look to her.
Below is a brief description of the normal personality. For more information, click here.
Ava has a normal personality, and frequently acts kind towards the player. Normal villagers generally get along with lazy, peppy, smug, snooty and other normal villagers. She may conflict with cranky and uchi villagers. As a normal villager, Ava will usually wake up at 6:00 am and is easier to befriend than most. Both normal and peppy villagers reference an unseen friend known as Moppina.
Ava's house in Animal Crossing is very cabin-like. She has the Cabin Wall, and Cabin Flooring, as well as many Cabin items. She also has a large teddy bear collection, and a turntable playing K.K. Country. She also has four shirts, which shows she's a fan of fashion.
Ava's house in Animal Crossing: New Leaf has changed from the original game. It now resembles a kitchen, due to her numerous food, and kitchen items, such as the Kitchen Island, two salad bars, and a soda case. Her house closely resembles Lolly's, another normal villager, due to the similar kitchen theme. Ava has a Record Player that plays K.K. Country. Her flooring is the Modern Wood Flooring, and her wallpaper is the Ranch Wall.
Ava is about as averange and clean cut as a chicken can be. She's up at the crack of dawn with all the roosters, but rather than crowing at the sun she's busy tidying up her room. She gets along well with the other animals -except the wolves.
