Bea (ベーグル,Bēguru?) is a normaldogvillager from the Animal Crossing series, appearing in Animal Crossing and finally returned in New Leaf. She is most likely named after the beagle, a dog breed. Her catchphrase, bingo, is possibly a reference to the popular dog name.
Bea is a brown dog with dark ears and a muddy-looking mouth. Bea has very dark eyes, which are the same shade of her ears. Bea appears to be somewhat short and has friendly eyes that are half-closed, resembling a soft and gentle nature. She wears a Flicker shirt, which has an orange and blue checkered pattern on it. She is sometimes compared to the pug dog breed, but unlike pugs, Bea has a long nose. She also resembles Maddie.

Bea has a normal personality, and frequently acts kind towards the player. Normal villagers generally get along well with lazy, peppy, smug, snooty, and other normal villagers. Bea may conflict with cranky and sisterly villagers. As a normal villager, Bea will usually wake up at 6:00 am and is easier to befriend than most. Both normal and peppy villagers reference an unseen friend known as Moppina.
House
Bea's house has a ceramic tile and rose wall. She has some clothes in her room, such as the gelato shirt, blossom shirt, and rally shirt, as well as a ranch cupboard and bookcase, teddy bears, a green lampside table and a green bed. She also has a CD player that plays K.K. Parade. Her RV contains these items: green wall, natural wood floor, bread basket, bread box, bread-making set, counter table, dessert case, menu chalkboard, shopping bag, soda case, tong-and-tray stand, and wooden counter.
Bea's a friendly dog, but she gets down in the dumps whenever someone mistakes her for a baby. She's tried everything from applying makeup to wearing really femenine clothing, but nothing seems to work.
