Bones is a lazy dog villager in the Animal Crossing series. He has appeared in every game up to date. His name is derived from bones, a popular treat for dogs, and possibly from the term "Lazy Bones."
[edit] Appearance
Bones is a dog that has muddy brown and coal black spots all over his body. A rather large brown patch covers his right eye, making it look like a bull's-eye. His floppy dog ears are tipped black and his muzzle is a plushy, faded pink. His tail is also black and his paws and feet appear the same color as his muzzle. He has a black, doggy nose and a curly smile like a real dog would. He could possibly be based off of a Jack Russel Terrier or the Target Dog. When you first meet him in Animal Crossing, he is wearing the Caveman Tunic that is brown with random light orange and yellow spots. He will often change to one of your designs and then change back.
[edit] Personality
He often has deliveries that he wants you to make because he has an "appointment with his sofa". Bones is even a kiddie type. He will often get excited and scared on things about food. He acts all childish but he is very mature and sweet sometimes. Bones often talks about contests where the player win a year's supply of food. He can be a bit pushy on deliveries but he always is to busy lounging around to care. So with that said, you may almost never see him outside. He may be nice, but he is very lazy. His pic quote reads "Thanks for the snacks. Hint hint."
[edit] House
Bones has the player's every day normal bedroom with no bed. He has two Gyroids and no music playing. He has the Playroom Wall and the Green Floor. In Wild World and City Folk, Bones has the Kiddie Theme and may also incorporate a computer, writing desk, writing chair, and office chair. He eventually empties out his room but never really asks the player for any furniture. He will usually keep one of his Gyroids, his computer, and at least one of the pieces from the Kiddie Theme.
Some days he may ask players for Lovely Furniture or start mentioning he can`t sleep without some.
