“Words to live by: Don't ever wimp out!”
― Picture quote, Wild World
Boone (まんたろう, Mantarou?) is a gorilla villager in the Animal Crossing series. He has a jock personality, making him appear competitive and active when around the town. His name could be a reference to the word and species "baboon," as well as a reference towards something many jocks say when showing off their muscles, referencing towards his personality type.
Appearance
Boone is a brown gorilla with blue cheeks and a red face, giving him the appearance and likeness of a Mandrill which is actually a species of old world monkey. His hands are gray and he has a white stomach. His initial clothing is the Indian shirt, which matches his brown coloration.
Personality
Below is a brief description of the jock personality. For more information, click here.
Like all jock villagers, Boone will have an interest in physical fitness and sports. This will make him appear competitive and challenging, as well as insulting to some when he criticizes their fitness and appearance. Despite this, he is friendly and kind towards the player. He may not get on well with snooty and cranky villagers, who do not agree with his active lifestyle, especially when he criticizes their lifestyles. He will be confused by the laid-back and relaxed lifestyle of lazy villagers.
House
Boone usually has a bonfire in the middle of his room, and the rest of his furniture will usually follow the Western Theme, although he does have a trash can, a bench press, and a piece of lovely furniture. He listens to K.K. Western.

Trivia
- Boone's name is another word for "dream." Another interpretation is that it is also derived from "Baboon", taking out the "ba" and adding an "e" on the end.
