Boris (ダリー Darī^?, Daley) is a cranky pig villager. His name presumably comes from the word "boar," an animal similar to a pig, usually wild. His initial phrase, "schnort," is pronounced similarly to "snort," a noise pigs and boars make.

Appearance

Boris is a blue pig with a large pink snout and slanted eyes. His teeth suggest that he has an underbite. Because his eyes are half-closed and slanted, he looks as though he is angry, yet he is smiling. His initial clothing is a Kafei's Shirt. In Animal Forest, his eyes make him look like a lazy villager. His eyelids are yellow in Animal Forest, but change to a light blue in later games. He has yellow inner ears, red in Animal Forest, and light blue hooves, pink in Animal Forest.

Personality

As a cranky villager, Boris will appear mature compared to other male personality types. This will make him appear rude and belittling when talking to other villagers, including the player. Despite this, he will learn to confine in the player, considering them his only friend. He will enjoy the usual hobbies, but not for competition, but for relaxing and peaceful reasons of calm and tranquility. He will find it difficult to socialize with peppy villagers, and will often make rude comments about them behind their backs. He will get along with lazy and snooty villagers, as well as other cranky villagers, who he will share deeper conversations with. He will, on occasion, annoy a normal villager, usually when being mean about something or someone. When he is sick, he will insult the illness and act delirious, thinking the player is his mother.

House

Boris's house has no specific theme, so it can be be considered an ordinary household containing a Wide-Screen TV, computer, writing desk and chair, and a pothos. He also owns 2 gyroids along with a bug and a fish. A train set, globe and Red Checked shirt are also found in his house.

Boris has the Green Wall and Ceramic Tile included in his house.
