Canberra (キャンベラ,Kyanbera?) is an uchikoalavillager who first appears New Leaf. Her name is from the Australian City and capital, Canberra. It may be a pun on "koala bear", although refering to koalas as such is discouraged as they are biologically not bears themselves. She appears on the album cover for K.K. March.
Canberra is a peachy coral colored koala. She has white tipped paws and the insides of her ears are also white. She has a large tan nose and very dark red blush on her cheeks. On the top of her head is a tuft of brown hair. She has brown eyebrows that are tilted in a way to make her look angry or fierce. Canberra initially wears the Green Stripe Tank. At first glance, she could be mistaken for a male due to sporting traits that are more stereotypically masculine.
