Cats (猫, Neko) are a species of villager in the Animal Crossing series. They all have pointed ears, tails, and wear dress-like garments until New Leaf, where the art-style was changed. There are 24 cat villagers. So far, there are no smug cats. Of the 28 cats in the series, 5 are snooty, 4 are lazy, 6 are peppy, 2 are cranky, 1 is uchi, 3 are jock, and 3 are normal.
