Celeste is an owl in the Animal Crossing series, first appearing in Animal Crossing: Wild World and then again in Animal Crossing: City Folk. She works in the Museum with her brother, Blathers where she operates the observatory. She is a sensitive, calm and quiet character unlike her brother. Her main role in the games is to help make constellations and stargazing. During the day, she can be seen snoozing and is only awake during the night. Upon talking to her, she'll say that she never sleeps on the job, and that only Blathers does.

[edit] Role within Wild World and City Folk

Celeste's job in both Wild World and City Folk is to assist the Player in making constellations and stargazing. Upon talking to her in the observatory, located up the stairs behind Blathers, she will give the player the option to create, delete or view constellations.
