Cleo (アイソトープ, Aisotōpu?, Isotope) is a snooty horse villager from Animal Crossing series. She could have been named after Cleo Ridgely, a professional horseback rider and actress. Her catchphrase, sugar, is referring to the treat, sugarcubes, that horses enjoy eating.

Cleo returned to the series in New Leaf, as part of the Welcome Amiibo update. By scanning amiibo cards this villager can be met via the campground and invited to the town. Until this update Cleo was the only horse not re-introduced in New Leaf.

Cleo in Animal Forest

Cleo is a light purple mare with a yellow mane. She has anime eyes, which gives her a peppy or normal look. She has pink in her ears and mouth. She also has a white muzzle and white tipped feet and hooves. She initially wears the silk bloom shirt. In Animal Forest, she wears blush and her nostrils are bigger. At first glance, she may be mistaken for a peppy villager, due to her cheery appearance.

Below is a brief description of the snooty personality. For more information, click here.
Cleo has a snooty personality, which means she loves make-up and gossiping. As a snooty villager, Cleo will first appear rude and arrogant towards the player, often talking about herself and her own experiences. She also speaks about the style and appearance of other villagers, usually other female villagers such as normal, peppy, and other snooty villagers. She will soon warm up to the player, confining in them about their own feelings but still keeping subtly rude. Cleo will not get along with lazy villagers due to them not caring about their appearance or the lazy villagers hating what she eats, and she won't get along with jock villagers because they will question her on her physical appearance and they won't worry about fashion. However, she will get along with cranky villagers due to their similar rude personalities, and usually normal villagers as well.

Cleo's house is chic-themed, with furniture from the Cabana Series such as the Cabana Lamp and the Cabana Screen. She has plants such as the Aloe and palm, and, to go along with her theme, she has a Mermaid Statue. She has the mosaic wall and floor and has a retro stereo playing K.K. Bossa and two gyroids, the Lullaboid and the Dingloid. in Animal Crossing New Leaf welcome amiibo shé playing K.K. Synth
