Crazy Redd is a fox that visits town every few days,[e] he's always[e] selling hard-to-find furniture items from his tent. He heavily hints that he really isn't on the up-and-up, and requires you to buy a membership in his "family" before he will sell to you. He also requires you to say the current password to enter the tent.

[edit] How to get a password

Family: Once you're a family member, Redd will send you a letter a couple of days before he arrives. This letter contains the password he will be using.

Non-family: Before you're a family member (or if you are a family member but threw away the letter and forgot the password), you will have to find someone who does. Occasionally, one of your villagers will tell you the password during a conversation.
