"This isn't even close to what I was looking for, gronk."Del (ヤマト, Yamato?) is a cranky alligator villager in the Animal Crossing series, a character only available in Animal Forest e+, City Folk and Animal Crossing: New Leaf. His name could possibly be a reference to crocodiles. His Japanese name and color scheme appear to be a reference to the Japanese battleship Yamato. He appears on the album cover for Mountain Song.
— Del, City Folk
Del is a dark blue alligator with the bottom portion of his jaws and abdomen a rich red. He also has black spots surrounding his red jawline (his nostrils), and half open eyes, given him a tired or angry look. In Animal Forest e+, Del initially wears a wave shirt, and in City Folk, a blue bar shirt. His appearance and house décor may possibly mean he is a robot, pirate, or pirate robot.
|Below is a brief description of the cranky personality. For more information, click here.|
Shown are items from the Pirate Theme, Robot Series, and Mad Scientist Theme. In City Folk, he listens to K.K. March and has some pirate furniture. He has a globe and surprisingly, a robo-dresser. He also has an inner tube and an amazing machine, but lacks any gyroids. If he owns a stereo in City Folk, it will play K.K. March. In Animal Forest e+, Del's house is initially the same as Kabuki's, but only with the planked tami and the rusty shed wallpaper. In Animal Forest e+, his stereo plays Imperial K.K.. In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Del retains the same wallpaper and flooring but has more of a futuristic theme, with several items of the Robot Theme and no longer owning any pirate items.
