Red Pikmin Hat

RedPikminHat

The red Pikmin hat was released to commemorate the release of the New Play Control! Pikmin 2 game. Pikmin 2 was first released on the Gamecube and was later released again for the Wii except with new controls that utilize the new Wii Remote functionality. To celebrate this, Nintendo sent a letter with the hat attached as a present. The letter read:

RedPikminHatLetter
Dear <Player>,

Look what bloomed in
celebration of spring's
beginning—a Pikmin hat!
It won't make you immune
to fire, but hopefully it'll
put a spring in your step!
Nintendo
