"I bet there's a paperweight-eating alien on the loose! I-I'm scared."Doc (トビオ, Tobio?) is a lazy rabbit villager from the Animal Crossing series. He may be named from the Bugs Bunny quote, "Eh, what's up doc?," as he is a rabbit. His name and likeness may also be based on Dr. Wright from the SNES version of SimCity. He is absent from both Animal Crossing: Wild World and Animal Crossing: City Folk, but he later appeared in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. He appears on the album cover for To the Edge.
— Doc, Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Doc is a blue rabbit who wears black-rimmed spectacles. Doc's initial clothing is the Vertigo Shirt. The outside of his tall ears are blue. On top of his head, he has light blue hair, neatly swept to the side slightly. The inside and tips of his paws are ginger colored. He also has light orange inside his ears and his feet and arms are light orange. His spectacles make him look like an old time doctor, relating to his name being Doc.
Below is a brief description of the lazy personality. For more information, click here.
Doc is a lazy villager, meaning he will mostly talk about food. Lazy villagers are kind and open with the player, making them (mostly) quite likeable. They often talk about food, fashion, and sleeping. Lazy villagers do not get along with snooty, cranky or jock villagers due to their differing opinions in lifestyle. He will also appear fatherlike in conversations, like all lazy villagers do.
Doc's house in Animal Crossing has a classroom theme. He has four School Desks facing a chalkboard, as well as two fish, and a globe. He also has a few lockers, and the Classroom Floor, as well as the Classroom Wall.
In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Doc's house still keeps a school theme, but it is less of a classroom, and more of a school in general. In the bottom-right corner, he has two School Desks facing a chalkboard, much like the previous game. In the top-right corner, he presumably has a music class, since he has a Pink Velvet Stool, and a piano. In the top-left corner, he seems to have a library, since he has a Large Bookshelf, and a Pop-up Book. The bottom-left corner is nothing special, he just has a High-End Stereo playing Pondering. He once again has a Classroom Floor and a Classroom Wall.
