Fauna (ドレミ, Doremi) is a normal deer villager in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Her name references the name for a young deer, a Fawn. Her Japanese name seems to be a play on the first part of the "Doremi" song, or simply just a combination of the Do, Re, and Mi notes which are frequent in music. A female deer is called a Doe, hence the reference.

Fauna is a normal villager. She wakes up early; at 5 AM. She does not seem to get along with snooty or cranky villagers, due to their brash personalities. She is very kind and generally gets along with other normal, lazy, jock and peppy villagers. She will act motherly towards lazy and peppy villagers, who tend to have childish personalities.

Fauna has no noticeable theme in her house, with furniture from different sets. She has a retro stereo, a radiator, household plant and a classic bed.
