“Got any cheese for me?”
― Picture quote, Wild World
“I've got good Dora on one shoulder and evil Dora on the other.”
― Dora, Wild World
Dora (とめ,Tome?) is a mousevillager from the Animal Crossing series. She has a normal personality, meaning that she will generally be polite to the player. Her catchphrase, "squeaky", refers to the sound that most mice make, and her name may be a reference to dormice. She appears in every game of the Animal Crossing series.
Dora's character model shares many characteristics with that of Samson, most notably the shape of their ears, head, and eyes. She has small pink dots of blush on her cheeks and dark blue coloring on the tips of her arms. She has a black nose and the insides of her ears are light blue, matching the color at the tips of each arm.
Personality
Below is a brief description of the normal personality. For more information, click here.
Dora has a normal personality, and frequently acts kind towards the player. Normal villagers generally get along well with lazy, peppy, smug, snooty, and other normal villagers. Dora may conflict with cranky and sisterly villagers. As a normal villager, Dora will usually wake up at 6:00 am and is easier to befriend than most. Both normal and peppy villagers reference an unseen friend known as Moppina.
House
In all games prior to Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Dora's stereo plays Soulful K.K. Her house is Japanese-themed, with two bonsais and a hearth. In Animal Forest, she has a Asian\Chinese\Japanese theme to it similar to Tabby's, Nate's, and Lucy's. In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, her house resembles an Asian dorm room. Her stereo now plays Only Me.
Dora loves to recycle. She even saves all the wrapping paper from every present she's ever gotten and reuses it on presents she's giving away. Do you think she recycles the presents, too?
