Feather

A feather refers to one of eight items that is obtained when donating to Boondox in the civic center in Wild World, having enough bells in the player's savings City Folk or with the net during Festivale in New Leaf and New Horizons.

Feathers can be worn as accessories and also placed indoors.

Donation Amounts in Wild World[]

To obtain the Green Feather, donate 10,000 bells.
To obtain the Blue Feather, donate 200,000 bells.
To obtain the Yellow Feather, donate 500,000 bells.
To obtain the Red Feather, donate 800,000 bells.
To obtain the Purple Feather, donate 1,100,000 bells.
To obtain the White Feather, donate 1,400,000 bells.
To obtain the Rainbow Feather, donate 6,400,000 bells.

Savings Amounts in City Folk[]

To obtain the Green Feather, have 100,000,000 bells in savings.
To obtain the Blue Feather, have 200,000,000 bells in savings.
To obtain the Yellow Feather, have 300,000,000 bells in savings.
To obtain the Red Feather, have 400,000,000 bells in savings.
To obtain the Purple Feather, have 500,000,000 bells in savings.
To obtain the White Feather, have 600,000,000 bells in savings.
To obtain the Rainbow Feather, have 700,000,000 bells in savings.

Feathers in New Leaf[]

Feathers are now obtained during Festivale in New Leaf. There are now 8 different colors with the addition of a new feather, pink.

At Re-Tail, the feathers are worth varying amounts: the player will receive 110 bells for each rainbow feather, 110 for pink, 100 for white, 90 for purple, 80 for red, 70 for yellow, 60 for blue, and 50 for green.

New Leaf Feathers[]

Feathers in New Horizons[]

Feathers in New Horizons float in the air, similar to cherry-blossom petals. They only appear during Festivale. All feathers have an equal chance to spawn except the rainbow feather which has a significantly lower chance. All feathers can be caught with a net but the rainbow feather can also be crafted. When giving three feathers of one color to Pavé, the player will receive a random Festivale themed item in the same color of the feather being given. After enough exchanges, Pavé will ask the player to give him three rainbow feathers. When given to Pavé the player will receive a Festivale Float. During the event, players can also trade feathers with villagers that have the same colored outfit as the feather.

The player can stack feathers, with the exception of Rainbow Feathers which cannot be stacked. The stack limit for feathers is 3.
