Ganon (ガノンGanon?) is a crankypig villager who makes his debut in the Welcome amiibo update for New Leaf. He can be summoned through Wisp by using the Ganondorf, Bokoblin, or 8-Bit Link amiibo. His appearance and name are based on those of the main antagonist of the Legend of Zelda series.
Along with other RV-exclusive villagers, Ganon can't be invited to the town if their own house is still present in the town. Once they have packed boxes and left, they may be "adopted" again.
Ganon is a stylized pig villager, referencing the character of the same name in The Legend of Zelda series. Specifically, Ganon is designed to resemble Ganon's appearance in earlier 2D Zelda games. Ganon is a dark blue pig with clear yellow eyes. He wears a red armor strap over his head, complete with protruding white spikes.
Personality
Below is a brief description of the cranky personality. For more information, click here.
Cranky villagers will usually appear in a grouchy or agitated mood. When talking to the player, cranky villagers tend to become angry if the player disagrees with them or refuses to do a favor. Like all cranky villagers, Ganon will be invested in his hobby and will often challenge the player to various competitions. He will easily get along with jock, snooty, and other cranky villagers, and occasionally lazy and normal villagers as well. However, he will find it hard to socialize with peppy villagers, as they will seem overstimulated or immature.
