This article is about the snooty ostrich villager. For the smug horse villager, see Julian.

In a certain sense, an umbrella expresses its owner's personality even more than clothes.

Julia (ジュリア, Juria?, Julia) is a snooty ostrich villager in the Animal Crossing series. She was originally exclusive to Animal Forest e+, where she appeared as an islander. Her catchphrase is "dahling," which is similar to Baabara's catchphrase of "daahling." She has the education hobby.

Julia returned to the series in New Leaf, as part of the Welcome amiibo update. By scanning amiibo cards, this villager can be met via the campground and invited to the town.

Appearance[]

Julia AFe+

Julia in Animal Forest e+

Julia is a blue ostrich, colored to resemble a peacock. Her eyes are large, with big black pupils with two little sparkles in each, and irises that are yellow-orange. There are three eyelashes on the side of each of her eyes, and she has a yellow beak. Her head and body are blue, while her wings and the top half of her head are colored green. She has white surrounding an area around her eyes, and a tail of rainbow feathers. The feathers are blue, red, orange, and yellow. Each tail feather is outlined with green. Her feet are gray striped with black. Her initial clothing is the Red Aloha Shirt in Animal Forest e+, and the Purple Tie-Dye Tee in New Leaf. Julia wears a coral-colored Zigzag-print dress in New Horizons. She will carry a Rainbow Umbrella during rain.

Personality

Julia personality changes from a peppy islander in Animal Forest e+ to a snooty villager in New Leaf.

In Animal Forest e+

Below is a brief description of the peppy personality. For more information, click here.

Peppy villagers appear to be in a good mood often and are easy to become friends with. As a peppy villager, Julia will have the tendency to over-react in conversations about trivial subjects, and will usually be over-excited to see the player or other villagers. This villager, like other peppy villagers, will rarely be discouraged from doing anything, including the usual hobbies. Peppy villagers dream of becoming famous in the future and read Ms. Nintendique, an unseen magazine read by snooty, normal, and other peppy villagers in the Animal Crossing series. Peppy villagers will also have a very short attention span, which means they soon forget some arguments or tasks given to the player which weren't completed. Julia may easily get upset in conversation when the wrong things are said. She will get along well with other villagers, particularly lazy, normal, jock, sisterly, and other peppy villagers, but she may annoy and upset cranky and snooty villagers, whose personalities differ to hers. Due to the nature of peppy villagers, she may mention how "old" or "boring" cranky villagers are compared to her opposing, upbeat personality.

In New Leaf

Below is a brief description of the snooty personality. For more information, click here.

Julia has a snooty personality, which means she loves makeup and gossiping. As a snooty villager, Julia will first appear rude and arrogant towards the player, often talking about herself and her own experiences. She also speaks about the style and appearance of other villagers, usually other female villagers such as normal, peppy, and other snooty villagers. She will soon warm up to the player, confiding in them about their own feelings but still keeping subtly rude. Julia will not get along with lazy villagers due to them not caring about their appearance or the lazy villagers hating what she eats, and she won't get along with jock villagers because they will question her on her physical appearance and they won't worry about fashion. However, she will get along with cranky villagers due to their similar rude personalities, and usually normal villagers as well.

House[]

In New Leaf, Julia's house interior is similar to that of her RV, with an elegant restaurant theme and most of the exclusive new items she comes with. She has two Round-Cloth Tables in the upper left and right of her room with a Single Rose and Warming Buffet on them. In the center of her home is a Table with Cloth, with a Steamed Lobster placed atop it and two Reception Chairs tucked up against it, and down by the doorway are a Coat Hanger and Elegant Bench. Her wallpaper and flooring are the Rococo wall and Herringbone floor.

In New Horizons, Julia's house is split into a bedroom and a bathroom, with a spa theme to it. The right half of the room is separated by two Black wooden-deck rugs. Her bedroom area mostly consists of the Rattan Series with the white bed, vanity, stool, low table, and end table. Her bathroom contains a Shower booth, a Long bathtub, a Rattan towel basket, and a Beach towel. She has a Bathrobe and Bathroom towel rack hanging on the wall. When she is crafting a DIY recipe, she uses an oak Ironwood DIY workbench.
