This article is about a villager named Frita from the Animal Crossing series. Not to be confused with Wendy, a peppysheepvillager, due to her Japanese name.
“Th-that's ridiculous... How can you not like potatoes?! Have you even had a potato?!”
― Frita, New Leaf
Frita (ウェンディ,Wendī?, Wendy) is an uchisheepvillager who first appeared in New Leaf. Her name is Spanish and Portuguese for the word "fried", and it's similar to the French word "frite" for chips, both origins reference her fleece, which has a french fry-esque appearance. Her Japanese name is a reference to the fast food chain Wendy's. Her catchphrase is a play on the phrase "oh you", swapping out the "you" with "ewe", which is the word for a female sheep. Frita appears on the album cover for K.K. Parade.
Frita is a brown sheep with fleece that appears to be made out of french fries. The back of her head resembles a burger and her face looks like a potato. The tips of her hooves are yellow, and her horns have red and yellow on them. Frita also has blue eyes and five freckles above her nose. Other than wearing blush, she lacks feminine features, so she can easily be mistaken for a male. Frita's initial shirt is the Reggae Tee, which she wears as a scarf, much like every other sheep villager.
