Gala (ためこ Tameko?) is a normal pig villager in the Animal Crossing series who makes her first appearance in City Folk. Her name may refer to a type of apples, Gala Apples, or it may also refer to "Gala Pork Pie." Her catchphrase references the snorting sounds that most pigs make.
She appears on the cover of Señor K.K.
Appearancepig with big, bright blue eyes with large black pupils, and cheeks that are a slightly darker pink than the rest of her, along with her hooves. She also has an assortment of different-colored flower decorations on her head. She initially wears the Daisy Tee, and on rainy days she carries the Daisy Umbrella.

Gala's house in Animal Crossing: City Folk, like her appearance, is quite plain and simple. It has several dolls, and the inclusion of the Barber's Pole and the Candy Machine, coupled with the background song in her house, gives it the slight feeling of a quaint little candy shop. She has other varieties of furniture in her house, such as a Kitchen wall and a Kitchen tile. Gala hardly ever moves her furniture around. She has a Dice stereo that plays Two Days Ago on it. Also in her house is a bathtub, an apple TV, and a cream sofa.
In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, her house is also quite simple. She has two Piggy Banks and a safe, which gives it a small resemblance to a bank. Gala also has a few items from the Minimalist Series such as the dresser and the lamp. She has a gold stereo playing Two Days Ago.
