This article refers to the furniture items gyroids , for the Gyroid that sits outside your house, click here

A room full of different gyroids

Gyroids are furniture items in Animal Crossing, Wild World and City Folk that you can place in your house, and are not to be confused with the Gyroid that appears outside your house in Animal Crossing. They can be found buried in the ground, like fossils, but only after rainy days.

Gyroids dance and make noises; the way they sound, how fast and high the sound is depends on the size of the gyroid and what family it belongs to. It can also make the noise to the beat of K.K.'s Music if it is on. This is where the word 'gyroid' comes from- it sounds similar to the word 'gyrate', meaning to spin.

  • If you sell it to Tom Nook, it's worth 828 bells.
  • If you place it in your house, it is worth 828 HRA points.

Note: Not all gyroid families have all the sizes of gyroids, and a few don't have a neutral size. There are 129 gyroids in total in Animal Crossing: Wild World.
