In Animal Crossing: Wild World, the player has the option to change their haircut. They have to have a friend visit their town and purchase an item from Nookway, then the store will upgrade to Nookington's, which will have Shampoodle inside: there you can get your hair changed. In Animal Crossing: City Folk, Shampoodle returns but this time you will have to travel to the City and Shampoodle will be on the right side of town. In both games you will have to pay 3,000 bells to get your hair done, and it can only be done once per day. In Animal Crossing: City Folk, Harriet--operator of Shampoodle--will also give you a Mii Mask when you ask for a makeover. Upon receiving every hairstyle of your gender, Harriet will offer to give you a hairstyle of the opposite gender. When getting a haircut or makeover, Harriet will push a button, and a large, hairdryer looking device will cover the player's entire head. After a few seconds, it pops off. The player will always have a shocked look on their face when the action is complete.
(The City Folk answers are first; the Wild World answers are second and in parentheses.)
