"It's amazing how little I remember, hopper."
— Huck, Animal Crossing
Huck (ストロー, Straw?) is a smug (formerly lazy) frog villager from the Animal Crossing series. His initial phrase, hopper, may be a reference to the popular game of the same name. Huck was removed since Wild World, but has been found in the data for Happy Home Designer.

Huck returned to the series in New Leaf, as part of the Welcome Amiibo update. By scanning amiibo cards this villager can be met via the campground and invited to the town.

Appearance

Huck is a gray frog. He has a crooked smile and a nose resembling a wart. He has yellow spots on both of his cheeks and his eyes are half closed, emphasizing that he has a lazy personality. His initial clothing is the Melon Gingham Shirt.

Personality

Huck's personality changes from a lazy villager in Animal Crossing to a smug villager in New Leaf. Wants a Grey Carpet from Jingle.

In Animal Crossing

Below is a brief description of the lazy personality. For more information, click here.
As a lazy villager, Huck will be friendly and easy to get along with due to his laid back lifestyle. Like all lazy villagers, he has a love of food and relaxing. He will enjoy partaking in the usual hobbies, usually for relaxing reasons or for food, like when fishing. Huck will get along well with other villagers, but may offend or confuse jock villagers, who have a conflicting lifestyle of exercise and fitness, compared to the lazy lifestyle of relaxing and food. He will get along with other lazy villagers with whom he will talk about food, comics, or superheroes. He will also get along well with normal and peppy villagers, but may from time to time annoy snooty and cranky villagers, who disagree with the lazy lifestyle.

In New Leaf

Below is a brief description of the smug personality. For more information, click here.
Smug villagers are very polite, kind, and gentleman-like. As a smug villager, Huck will get along easily with other villagers. Smug villagers get along well with most villagers, their personality appearing to be a mix of the other personality types. As a smug villager he will stroke his ego from time to time, going on about how cool he is.

House

He has a Cafe-style house with several tables, a turntable with K.K. Jazz in it, and Parquet flooring. In Animal Forest, Huck has a Asian theme towards it, similar to Tabby's, Nate's, Dora's, and Lucy's. Soulful K.K. is playing on a phonograph.
