"You see anything awesome going down, just give me a holler, bzzert!"
— Jitters, City Folk
Jitters (ジーニョ,,Jinyo?) is a jockbirdvillager from the Animal Crossing series, who made his debut in Wild World. Jitters seems to be a representation of the Latin-American culture, especially Brazilian culture, as he wears a Soccer Tee (which looks like the Brazilian soccer team uniform), has K.K. Samba playing in his house (Samba is a popular musical style in Brazil), and has the coloration of the Brazilian flag. His name refers to "coffee jitters" - a side effect some experience after drinking coffee (Brazil is the world's largest coffee producer).
Jitters is a green bird with yellow around his orange beak, and blue on the feathers and his belly. He has blue circles around his big, round eyes. He seems to be based off of a hummingbird. Jitters's initial clothing is the Soccer Tee. His color scheme resembles the Brazilian flag, similar to the music in his house, K.K. Samba.
Below is a brief description of the jock personality. For more information, click here.
Jock villagers usually appear to have a large amount of energy and are very interested in sports and bodybuilding. They can also be egotistical at times and are somewhat dense. As a jock villager, Jitters will be very interested in his hobby and will often ask to compete with the player to see who can catch a certain fish or bug the fastest. Jitters will easily get along with peppy villagers, who share similar traits. However, he will find it difficult to converse with lazy, snooty, and cranky villagers, as he will often not understand the conversation.
He has K.K. Samba as the music in his house. His flooring and wallpaper is backyard flooring and wallpaper. His house has sprinklers and bugs. Jitters' house looks like a backyard. He has the barbecue, two oil drums, and lounge chair.
