Julia (ジュリア, Juria?) is an ostrich islander with a peppy personality in the Animal Crossing series, but was later changed to a snooty villager when she returned in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. She was originally exclusive to Animal Forest e+, where she occurred as an islander. If the player was to scan her e-reader card and went to their private island, she would be found washed up on the shores of the island, similar to Gulliver.

Julia returned to the series in New Leaf, as part of the Welcome Amiibo update. By scanning amiibo cards this villager can be met via the campground and invited to the town.

Julia has huge, orange, anime-styled eyes resembling those of Littlest Pet Shops. Her colorful appearance makes her look like a peacock but she is in fact an ostrich. She has a green and blue head, with white surrounding her eyes. Her initial clothing is the Purple Tie-Dye. Her feet are striped with white and pink.

Julia's personality changes from a peppy islander in Animal Forest e+ to a snooty villager in New Leaf.

In Animal Forest e+

Below is a brief description of the peppy personality. For more information, click here.
Peppy villagers appear to be in a good mood often, and are easy to become friends with. As a peppy villager, Julia will have the tendency to over-react in conversations about trivial subjects, and will usually be over-excited to see the player or other villagers. This villager, like other peppy villagers, will rarely be discouraged from doing anything, including the usual hobbies. Peppy villagers dream of becoming famous in the future and read Ms. Nintendique, an unseen magazine read by snooty, normal, and other peppy villagers in the Animal Crossing Series. Peppy villagers will also have a very short attention span, which means they soon forget some arguments or tasks given to the player which were not completed. Julia may easily get upset in conversation when wrong things are said. She will get along well with other villagers, particularly the lazy, normal, jock, uchi, other peppy villagers, but she may annoy and upset cranky and snooty villagers, whose personalities differ. Due to the nature of peppy villagers, she may mention how "old" or "boring" cranky villagers are compared to her opposing, upbeat personality.

In New Leaf

Below is a brief description of the snooty personality. For more information, click here.
Julia has a snooty personality, which means she loves make-up and gossiping. As a snooty villager, Julia will first appear rude and arrogant towards the player, often talking about herself and her own experiences. She also speaks about the style and appearance of other villagers, usually other female villagers such as normal, peppy, and other snooty villagers. She will soon warm up to the player, confining in them about their own feelings but still keeping subtly rude. Julia will not get along with lazy villagers due to them not caring about their appearance or the lazy villagers hating what she eats, and she won't get along with jock villagers because they will question her on her physical appearance and they won't worry about fashion. However, she will get along with cranky villagers due to their similar rude personalities, and usually normal villagers as well.
