The Legend of Zelda series. It makes an appearance as a furniture piece in Animal Crossing, and reappears in later games. In Wild World, City Folk, and Animal Crossing: New Leaf, the Master Sword has a corresponding sound to it, which is featured in The Legend of Zelda games when the player finds an item in a treasure chest. It appears in Tom Nook's Shop as a Special Item, at the price of 2,880 bells. In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, it can obtained by bringing the Fortune #35 to Timmy or Tommy in Nookling Stores after a Fortune Cookie is purchased and eaten.
Limited Edition Version
Upon the release of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, a limited edition Master Sword, a replica of that featured in the game, was sent out over Wi-Fi. However, it was only stocked for one day.
In The Legend Of Zelda
This weapon was used in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, upon removing it from the pedestal Link was placed in the Sacred Realm, a dimension sealed away by the three goddesses of Hyrule, for 7 years. This allowed him to become the Hero of Time and awaken the Sages to defeat the series's main antagonist, Ganondorf.
