Hey Fang,
I've got one quick idea I'd like to discuss with you. Do you think the Wikia should be renamed "Animal Crossing Wiki" instead of "Animal Crossing City"? I've noticed that the Wiki page title is "The Animal Crossing Wiki - now featuring New Leaf!", yet the actual site name is "Animal Crossing City", so it's a bit confusing.
The original name is referring to its name before it became a Wikia, and as it's no longer a place it seems fitting to make the move to change the name to fit the page title and what it is for.
I've been thinking of replacing the logo at the top with a more modern look with the New Leaf Oak Tree and the text "Animal Crossing Wiki", and suddenly came across the site name when about to edit the home page to make some changes.
I'd quite like to know what you think. I've created a section in the Talk page of the home page Talk:Animal Crossing Wiki.

Is it just me or are the videos not reverting properly? It seems the revert system is just reuploading an image of the previous video, and when you go to play it that annoying Snake video comes up :/

  I think they have to be reverted manually then :/
  I have an installed script which allows me to rollback all of a user's contributions, which is what I used to revert the spam/vandalism (which is why all reverts were made in the same second). I'll fix the rest up, then, and if there's a bug in the script I'll have to report it.

Hey Fang, I am asking for some advice and your opinion.
Do you think we should have a new Post Office page for the Post Office in New Leaf? If not, should I edit the current Post Office page to add the new information?
The reason I am thinking of creating a new page is because it seems to operate differently than the previous instalments which had it, and I am worried that an old page with new info might confuse the two games and post offices.
However, creating a new page might cause confusion over naming. Would the new page be called Post Office (NL) or Post Office (New Leaf) with the current page having a rename in the same way as the Octopus page, or a link at the top of the current page directing people?

  I think Post Office (New Leaf) would work quite nicely. On the general post office page, we could have a section for New Leaf that links to the proper page (with maybe a short paragraph of info) to avoid confusion. It'd be sort of like the personality sections on villager pages. And yeah, a disambiguation page like Octopus would work pretty well too :)
  I've been a little lazy in my research of New Leaf features, so I don't really know how the new post office works. But I think the page could work either way.

  Some of the wiki's best pages haven't had much activity, and that's because they're more or less finished. I don't think the page needs to have a lot of traffic to still be useful and informative.

  I'll get round to it eventually. I'm tempted by making a new page, and have a link at the top of the current Post Office page saying "This page is about the Post Office in previous games. For New Leaf etc etc", with a small section about the post office from New Leaf as Fang suggested. The disambiguation page might be a huge step to take for a page that might not get that many views.
  I am a bit hesitant to edit too much in case the information in some articles online are false or inaccurate. I'm still not convinced Club 101 is Club lol, it doesn't make sense seeing as it's not a comedy club and lol is such an annoying word in that context.

  Mm, I'm not convinced it is Club lol either. I remember Zedamex (An Animal Crossing player who livestreams the Japanese version) saying that it club 101 is meant to be a reference to the term lol, and that club 444 was also meant to be some reference in Japanese culture.

  Since the post office is still a post office it could work on the same page. Remember that there is a contents function which lets you click "New Leaf" from the list and it will take you to that part of the page.
  I don't disagree that it would be cluttered, but having two pages when we only need one is also cluttered.
  Could do with more thoughts on it really.

  Agreed, it's quite a big decision really.
  Part of the problem is what to do with the building exterior picture. Do we just replace the current post office image with the New Leaf exterior, and move the previous image to somewhere lower down on the page? The Able Sisters page will also need a few changes - the building looks different in New Leaf.

  Maybe we shouldn't make a new page after all... A lot of things in New Leaf are going to change (Coffe Shob, Able Sisters, Nook's stores). So I guess we could just add on to our old pages. That would actually make a bit more sense :)

  I've made all the Nookling Stores pages, they are new stores which are very different to Tom Nook's Store in previous games. Plus the page would become overcrowded if they two pages were merged.
  I might change the Able Sisters store front picture to the new Able Sisters in New Leaf, as they seem to operate the same and have the same store layout inside. The same could happen to the Post Office page.

  That will be uploaded in June when I or anyone else can get clearer images of the front of the buildings in the English version. I'm dreading the release, so many images are going to have to be replaced and uploaded :P I didn't realise I uploaded the Able Sisters image on here, that seems like ages ago! :o

  I agree, although we shouldn't be mean to her, she is providing quite a lot of useful little images. Once New Leaf is released we may see more people editing, so when we have to chip in and fix up some articles we can begin adding galleries to some of these pages :)
