Mott (リック,,Rick?) is a jocklionvillager in the Animal Crossing series. His name is a reference to the 70's band Mott the Hoople, who later reformed under the name British Lions. His initial phrase is a play on the word "cage", which is usually what lions are kept in at zoos.
Mott is a lemon yellow lion with an auburn mane and a goatee at the bottom of his chin, along with two small lowered eyebrows the same color as his mane. His hands and feet are beige-colored and he has three freckles on each side. He's also one of the few villagers to wear accessories, wearing a pair of reading glasses.
Below is a brief description of the jock personality. For more information, click here.
Jock villagers usually appear to have a large amount of energy and are very interested in sports and bodybuilding. They can also be egotistical at times and are somewhat dense. As a jock villager, Mott will be very interested in his hobby and will often ask to compete with the player to see who can catch a certain fish or bug the fastest. Mott will easily get along with peppy villagers, who share similar traits. However, he will find it difficult to converse with lazy, snooty, and cranky villagers, as he will often not understand the conversation.
His house has a bathroom theme, with two wash basins, a bath tub, and two showers, from the same theme. He also has a gyroid. Mott plays Marine Song 2001 when given a stereo. In New Leaf, he has many items from the Sloppy Series.
