Ozzie (ドングリ, Donguri?) is a lazy koala villager from the Animal Crossing series. He was absent from Wild World and City Folk, but returned in New Leaf. His name is derived from the term "Aussie," which is a nickname for "Australian." Australia is the continent where koalas live. His Japanese name, "donguri", means acorn. He appears on the album cover for K.K. Bazaar.
Ozzie is a gray koala with a wide smile on his face. He has an orange nose and dark gray hair on the top of his head, matching the top of his ears. His ears transition from dark gray to light gray to white. He initially wears the Giraffe Shirt, showing the species of Gracie, the designer of the Giraffe Shirt.
Below is a brief description of the lazy personality. For more information, click here.Ozzie, as a lazy villager, will be easy to get along with due to his laid-back lifestyle. Like all lazy villagers, he shares a love of food and relaxing. He will enjoy partaking in the usual hobbies, usually for relaxing reasons or for food, when fishing. He will get along well with other villagers, but may offend or confuse jock villagers, who have a conflicting lifestyle of exercise and fitness, compared to the lazy lifestyle of relaxing and food. Cranky villagers will admire his laid back lifestyle. He will get along with other lazy villagers with whom he will talk about food, comics or superheroes. He will also get along well with normal and peppy villagers, but may from time to time annoy snooty villagers, who disagree with the lazy lifestyle.
