Pekoe is a normal, cub villager from the Animal Crossing series, She originally appeared in the Animal Forest, but was absent in every other game like Chrissy, another Animal Forest villager, who returned to the series in City Folk. Pekoe's name may derive from the Chinese for "white flower", as well as her initial phrase, "bud", which is the name associated with the head of a flower.

Pekoe is a Chinese-looking cub, who shares a similar appearance to Felicity and Merry, whom also only appear in Animal Crossing/Forest and City Folk. She looks very much like a cat with bear ears, but in fact she is a cub. She has unusual, almond-shaped eyes that are aquamarine colors. Her hair is short and black.

As a normal villager, she will appear hospitable and friendly towards the Player and will give useful tips to new Players, such as the camera feature (City Folk) and looking up at the sky (also in City Folk). She likes to share her clothes with other villagers, as well as her initial quote. She is very rarely annoyed or angry, although she may leave arguments with other villagers looking upset.

Pekoe's house has an exotic theme, with a bamboo floor and a red vase. She has a phonograph that has Imperial K.K. playing on it.
