Even when I didn't see you in real life, you made special guest appearances in my dreams!
― Pekoe, City Folk

Pekoe (ジャスミン Jasumin?, Jasmine) is a normal cub villager from the Animal Crossing series who was introduced in City Folk. Pekoe's name may derive from a term used to refer to unopened leaf buds in tea flushes; her initial phrase, "bud," is also associated with the head of a flower. She is similar in appearance to June, another cub from the early games in the series. She appears on the album cover for Imperial K.K.

Appearance

Pekoe is a cream cub who has almond-shaped, aquamarine eyes and rosy cheeks. She has short black hair, and she initially wears the Hot Spring Shirt. Her ears are white and have a white and pink flower-shaped hair accessory around them. They resemble ox horns, a typical hairstyle style in which Chinese children dress their hair.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the normal personality. For more information, click here.

Pekoe has a normal personality, and frequently acts kind towards the player. Normal villagers generally get along well with lazy, peppy, smug, snooty, and other normal villagers. Pekoe may conflict with cranky and sisterly villagers. As a normal villager, Pekoe will usually wake up at 6:00 am and is easier to befriend than most. Both normal and peppy villagers reference an unseen friend known as Moppina.

House

Pekoe's house is somewhat similar to Genji's or Kabuki's house. Her house has an Exotic theme, with a bamboo floor and a red vase, matching with her Asian appearance. She has a phonograph that plays Imperial K.K. This also gives off the idea of her being Chinese oriented.
