- "HOPPING HOTCAKES!!!"
- — Picture quote, Animal Crossing: Wild World
Pippy (ロッタ, Lotta) is a peppy rabbit villager in the Animal Crossing series. Pippy is one of the few peppy villagers who have a pic quote that says "(action) (food)." Other villagers include Freckles, Pate, Pinky, Truffles, and Victoria. Her name may come from her peppy personality. Her initial catchphrase is a reference to her species, as rabbits are sometimes called hares.
Pippy has a creamy yellow body with navy blue bunny ears and the blue from her ears comes down to a zigzag pattern all the way around her head. The inside of her ears are light orange and her legs are navy with her arms and head being cream colored. Her paws are peachy orange along with the inside of her ears and has freckles right under her eyes and a distinctive bunny nose. She has a glorious and wide smile. She bears a slight similarity to Gabi, another peppy rabbit. In City Folk she wears a mint gingham top. In all other games she wears the Ugly Shirt. Due to her rather simple design, she can be mistaken for a normal villager or even a male because of her lack of feminine features.
Below is a brief description of the peppy personality. For more information, click here.
As a peppy villager, Pippy will always appear in a good mood. She will get along with other villagers including the player, making it easy to befriend her and gain her picture in Animal Crossing: Wild World. She will enjoy the usual hobbies, and may ask the player for bugs or fish that she finds cute. She will easily get upset, but due to a short attention span she will forget ever having the conversation. Like all peppy villagers, she dreams of becoming famous in the future and reads Ms. Nintendique, an unseen magazine read by snooty and peppy villagers in Animal Crossing: Wild World. She will get on well with normal, lazy, jock, and other peppy villagers, but may annoy snooty and cranky villagers with her upbeat personality.
In Animal Forest and Dōbutsu no Mori +, Pippy has a Mossy Garden themed house with the Backyard Lawn (floor) and Backyard Fence (wallpaper). She has a sprinkler in the center of her house, which you can turn on/off, hammock, and normally asks for insects and blue furniture to complement her house. She also has a lawn chair, backyard pool, and a Nintendo bench. She listens to K.K. Mambo on her tape deck. In Animal Forest and Dōbutsu no Mori +, Pippy's house has a Bathroom Theme towards it, with many furniture from the Spa Set, such as a Spa Vanity and a Spa Mat. Including a sunflower, a toilet, and a Tape Deck that plays K.K. Mambo. The Wallpaper is the Mosaic Wall and the Flooring is the Bathroom Tile.
In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, her house is completely redesigned, featuring a Kitchen Island, some pieces of Minimalist furniture, a gold stereo, a chaise lounge, and more.
- Pippy shares her birthday with the European release date for Animal Crossing: New Leaf.
