Rudy (チャス,Chasu?) is a jockcatvillager that first appeared in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. His English name may refer to Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, who has a red nose like Rudy. His initial phrase and his birthday support this possibility. He shares the same birthday with Isabelle and Digby. His New Leaf picture quote is a reference to how cats land on their feet.
Rudy has a mostly brown body, with white covering his face, paws, and the tip of his tail. The insides of his ears are yellow along with his sclera, and his pupils are black. He also has a round red nose. He initially wears a red grid shirt.

Rudy has a jock personality and has a great interest in sports and bodybuilding. Jock villagers are hyperactive and motivated, but often come across as self-centered and dense. As a jock villager, Rudy is very interested in his hobby, and may compete against the player at catching bugs and fish. Jock villagers get along with peppy, cranky, and sisterly villagers, but conflict with the laid-back lifestyle of lazy villagers. Snooty villagers may also be difficult to get along with for Rudy.
House
In New Leaf, Rudy's house has a rather childish theme, which reflects his age and personality. His choice of furniture primarily consists of the Ranch Series such as the bed and bookcase along with a cactus. Certain items that help contribute to Rudy's childish-themed house include the Bowling Pins and the Race Car Track. On his Hi-Fi Stereo, he has The K. Funk playing and for his choice of flooring and wallpaper, he has the Steamboat Wallpaper and the Wooden Flooring.
One may question, due to his similarities to Rudolph the Red-nosed reindeer, why the developers didn't simply make him a deer to begin with. It seems they may have thought it was too obvious.
