Upon donation, Blathers the curator will say:
"Hoo! Indeed, WOO hoo! A small bass, I believe. Even run-of-the-mill, common fish are valuable resources, you see. All part of the grand tapestry, wot! We will take excellent care of this fellow, oh yes. You can rest assured. Excellent care, indeed."
"So! This is just a baby bass. Hardly a mouthful, really...I'll measure it for you all the same, though... Hmm. [number] inches on the nose."
Small Bass in Animal Crossing range in length from 5-9 inches.

The small bass is the same species as the large bass and the regular bass, the difference being the average size. The black bass as it is called can be found in clear water such as streams, rivers, and rocky areas as well as sandy bottoms of lakes and reservoirs. It usually prefers cooler water temperature and due to its pollution, it is a healthy type of fish and a good natural indicator and a healthy environment, though it may need adjustments to its environment.
