Squirrel

A squirrel (リス, Risu) is a type of animal species in the Animal Crossing series. They resemble real squirrels with their fluffy tails and facial features. As with all Animal Crossing species, they have heads that are out of proportion to the rest of their body. Most squirrel's names and catchphrases start or relate to nut. Though some squirrels resemble other species e.g. chipmunks, in Animal Crossing they are all labeled squirrels.
