"This is my new headshot!"Tabby (トラこ, Torako?) is a peppy cat villager in the Animal Crossing series. Her name comes from the fact that she is a tabby cat. Her catchphrase sounds like "meow" except she says wow at the end. This is the feline version of Daisy's catchphrase.
— Picture quote, Animal Crossing: Wild World
AppearanceTabby is a pure orange cat with brown stripes on her face, purple eyelids (that can be mistaken for eyeshadow), white tipped paws, blushing pink cheeks, a red piggish nose with oval nostrils, and is always showing her teeth in what's neither a smile nor a frown. Because her appearance lacks feminine features besides for the blush on her cheeks, she is often mistaken for a male.
Below is a brief description of the peppy personality. For more information, click here. She has a peppy personality, and loves to talk about clothes. She often catches colds and obsesses over boys, saying that she is waiting for her "knight in shining armor" and asking if you have seen any cute boys. She can also be snooty, and gossip about others. She can often be quite mean to the player, for example if she is wearing one of the player's designs, she may say "So you're telling me YOU'RE the one who designed this thing?! I must have seen your name on the label and bought it without looking! That's the last time I buy one of your hideous designs!" This might also make the player think that she is a snooty villager.
Tabby's house in Animal Crossing and Animal Forest has a strong Asian-Like feel towards it, along with two Gyroids with a Retro TV and the computer. In Animal Forest, some villagers have a similar style to her house such as Dora and Nate's. In other games, Tabby finds Modern Series furniture appealing and likes the Illusion flooring and wall. In Animal Crossing: Wild World she has hardly any furniture when she first moves in, except a red sofa and a couple of other things. Later on, she may have a want for Chic furniture and Fossils. In City Folk, she has To the Edge playing in her house.
