Vic (ノルマン, Noruman?) is a cranky bull villager in New Leaf. His name relates to his viking-like appearance and home decor, Vic being a shortening of "Viking". The "Nor" in his Japanese name refers to "Norse" or "Norway", which is where vikings are said to be from.
His initial phrase, cud, refers to the act of rumination, or chewing their cud - a process done by cows, bulls and a variety of other animals. His picture quote is similar to Fang's.
Appearance
Vic is a light brown bull with a darker brown beard and hair. He wears a viking helmet and the innards of his ears are pink. He also has dirty green eyes and three orange freckles on each of his cheeks. The tips of his hooves and tail are dark brown. Vic initially wears the Scale Armor Suit, and he carries the Flame Umbrella on rainy days.

Cranky villagers will usually appear in a grouchy or agitated mood. When talking to the player, cranky villagers tend to become angry if the player disagrees with them or refuses to do a favor. Like all cranky villagers, Vic will be invested in his hobby and will often challenge the player to various competitions. He will easily get along with jock, snooty, and other cranky villagers, and occasionally lazy and normal villagers as well. However, he will find it hard to socialize with peppy villagers, as they will seem overstimulated or immature.
House
Vic has a house that resembles a pirate ship, which matches his viking-like appearance. He has many pirate themed items, such as two cannons, an anchor, a helm, a compass and a barrel. In the bottom right corner is a dinosaur skull. The placement of this fossil makes it look as if a dinosaur is poking it's head onto the "ship" from the water. Vic's Phonograph plays Lucky K.K., and he has the Sea View wallpaper and Ship Deck flooring that can be obtained from Pascal.
